
Thefts, break-ins, drugs, drink-driving and an accident. There's just no rest for Goondiwindi Police.
At 3.18am on April 28 unknown persons entered a yard in Hunter Street. They were disturbed and ran off.

Between 12.20am and 5 am on April 28 offenders removed a fly-screen and entered a residence in Bowen Street. They have removed a set of keys and stolen a vehicle. It was later located in Boggabilla. Three people in the vehicle have been identified and arrest warrants have been taken out.
At 2.56am on April 28 three people have been seen walking through the front yard of an address in Callandoon Street. The occupant has made a noise and the offenders ran off.
Overnight on April 27 someone has entered a yard in Donald Street and gone through the unlocked shed. No property was stolen.
At 8.50am on April 29 police intercepted a vehicle in Albert Street. Police searched the vehicle and located cannabis. The 47 year-old ACT man was offered and accepted drug diversion. The driver was also drug tested and returned a positive reading.
At 12.35pm on April 29 police intercepted a vehicle in McDougall Street. The 38 year-old Goondiwindi man was drug tested and returned a positive reading.
At 9.20am on April 30 police attempted to intercept a Nissan Skyline vehicle on the Gore highway. The vehicle kept travelling at speed and due to the current pursuit policy police are not allowed to pursue the vehicle. The vehicle was stolen from Toowoomba overnight and was heading south.
Between 11pm on April 26 and 8am on April 27 thieves have entered a yard in Pfingst street and removed a fish finder and an electric motor from a boat that was in the yard.
At 11.30am on April 26 a single vehicle traffic accident occurred on the Cunningham Highway near the roundabout. A 66 year-old woman from NSW lost control and hit a power pole. The driver was issued an infringement for driving without due care.
During the last week someone has attempted to break into the Uniting Church in Elizabeth Drive. Entry was not gained.
At 4.55pm on April 27 a 47 year-old man was charged with public nuisance after a verbal altercation at a local service station. The incident arose after the two were travelling in the same direction on the highway.
At 7.10 am on May 2 an 18 year-old Moree man was charged for dangerous driving of a motorcycle after an incident around Marshall Street.
