If you haven't been to Goondiwindi's Military Museum now's the time says Karen Woods.

Goondiwindi resident Karen Woods has invited the "community" to come along and view the Military Museum at her home - 32 Ulawanna Road, Goondiwindi on the following dates:

Thursday 15th April from 5pm to 7pm

Saturday 17th April from 3pm to 6pm

"The Military Museum covers Australian military service from World War 1 to the present day.

"Children are to be accompanied by parents

"There is no charge.

"A COVID-19 plan is in place."

But that's only half the story. We can tell you, you won't be sorry if you pop out to Karen's home and take the time to explore a very special tribute to our military past and to all those who have served.

The museum means a great deal to Karen as she continues the work and the passion of her late husband Graham.

Graham was an avid collector of coins, stamps and fossils. It was however, his pursuit of military memorabilia which led to his acquiring a significant collection of artefacts ranging from the Boer War to current day conflicts.
