It's been a busy month for the Goondiwindi Motorcycle Club, hosting the Todd Waters and Ben Schodel riding school, and now counting down for the Gundy Moto X-Country event this Saturday.

The club has undergone a revamp with track upgrades, new fencing, better track viewing areas and a new canteen installed.

"The committee and other volunteers are working hard to improve the club to encourage more participants," Jordan McGregor said. "We want to make a good first impression as this is our first ever motocross/enduro race the club has held," she said.

This race is also being combined to host the last round of the Queensland Off-Road Championship Series. "This is pretty exciting as some of Queensland's top level riders are coming to compete."

There will be plenty of action to go out and watch and merchandise will also be available to purchase on the day. See the club's Facebook page for all other details, including how you can volunteer on the day and how to enter with a call for more senior quad riders.
