Goondiwindi Police praised the behavior of the Goondiwindi B&S crowd on the weekend.
They only wish more of them hadn't jumped behind the steering wheel.
They charged 11 people with drink-driving, 12 with drug-driving five with unlicensed driving, and 54 with various driving offences including exceeding the speed limit and failing to wear seat belts.
There was only one charge of being a public nuisance.
In other matters, at 1.30am on Tuesday, September 24, Police were conducting patrols along Callandoon Street, Goondiwindi when they spoke to a 18 year-old male.
As a result of that conversation, police located a glass drug pipe which was concealed in his trousers.
The drug pipe was seized by police and the male was charged with possession of a drug utensil.
At about 2.20 on September 24, Police intercepted a vehicle driving on Boundary Road, Goondiwindi.
The 35 year-old male driver provided a NSW driver's licence to police which had been expired. The man was issued with a Traffic Infringement Notice valuing $204 for driving a motor vehicle whilst unlicensed.
At 11.20pm on Thursday. September 26, police intercepted a 33 year-old woman driving a motor vehicle in Brisbane Street, Goondiwindi.
She provided a positive reading for alcohol and later provided a secondary breath test of .101.
Her licence was suspended and she was charged with drink driving.
At 11.40pm on September 27, police spoke to a 18 year-old man in Herbert Street, Goondiwindi. The Warwick man found to possess 1gram of cocaine. He was was charged with possession of a dangerous drug and will be appearing in court at a later date.
On September 15, Police observed a vehicle parked in the centre of the large roundabout on the Cunningham Highway. Police spoke to the 39 year-old woman who admitted to possessing cannabis and a bong. She was eligible and entering into a drug diversion program.
