Moree Community Library will be celebrating the wonderful world of books with special guest authors and illustrators from the region at the end of this month.

Books in the Bush will be the library's first major author event, to be held over two days, on Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27.

To kick it off will be an unmissable evening with five authors, illustrators and publishers - Trish Donald, John Ryan, Nicole Alexander, Michael Burge and Fiona McDonald - for a unique panel and personal 'in conversation' event at Any Occasion at The Max from 6.30pm on Friday, July 26.

Tickets are $50 per person which includes a two course meal. They can be purchased through Moree Community Library. Tables of 10 can be booked.

On Saturday there'll be writing and illustrating workshops for all ages, presented by the visiting experts. Participants will learn how to write and illustrate stories, get tips on partial or complete writing projects, and discover the art of nature writing.

Call Moree Community Library (02) 6757 3374 or moree@bsl.nsw.gov.au to book in for one of the many free workshops.
