Teenagers charged after Herbert-Street break-in

The Goondiwindi Police have charged three juvenile offenders for an outstanding break and enter offence that had occurred in Herbert Street, Goondiwindi.

Police said the three teenagers were charged with juvenile trespass and will appear before the Goondiwindi Children's Court.

On May 19 Police charged a 19 year-old Goondiwindi man with trespass of a licensed premises.

The man was subject to a hotel ban.

May 17: Police intercepted a vehicle in Darling Street and spoke with a 25 year-old male driver.

The man did not comply with an officer's requirement to provide saliva for a drug test.

The man had his licence suspended and he was issued a Notice to Appear in the Goondiwindi Magistrates Court charged with failing a drug test.

May 17: At 10.30pm Police intercepted a vehicle on Boundary Road, Goondiwindi.

Police spoke to the 43 year-old driver.

Police searched the vehicle and located a quantity of dangerous drugs and further checks of the driver's licence showed that he was currently unlicensed.

He was arrested and released on bail from the Goondiwindi watchhouse to appear in the Goondiwindi Magistrates Court.

May 18 : Police intercepted a vehicle on Kildonan Road Goondiwindi.

Police spoke with an 18 year-old male driver who failed a road side drug test.

He had his licence suspended and was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Goondiwindi Magistrates Court .

May 18: At 9pm Police intercepted a vehicle in Marshall Street Goondiwindi and spoke to a 54 year-old male driver.

He failed a road side breath test and later provided a breath analysis reading of 0.112percent.
