Boars will be keen to hit back after first loss at home

The Warwick Cowboys continued their unbeaten start to the TRL Premiership, downing Goondiwindi 32-16.

The Boars fought hard in the first half and got to 6-all until the Cowboys scored just before half time. David McGrady and Kyle Munro led the home side back into contention but Cowboys capitalised on Goondiwindi's poor completion rate to take the game 32-16.

It was the Boars first loss at home in 2019 and Coach Mark Offendahl said it was disappointing given the huge ladies' day crowd.

He said, "Bad habits from previous games crept into our game and we have a lot to work on." Goondiwindi will be out to end a run of two straight losses when it faces up against Wattles next round.
