Texas recently hosted the annual Torture on the Border triathlon.

Conditions were perfect and just about every community group and club from Texas helped with a couple of groups from Inglewood and some triathlon equipment care of the Hell of the West committee.

There were also a number of local businesses who provided valuable sponsorship to enable the event to run.

This year the event became part of the Toowoomba-based Peartland tri series which brought extra competitors in the open events.
