Ecologist and farmer, Dana Masters, will inspire and delight you with all things bees. Satisfy your curiosity and update your knowlege on bees and bee keeping. Perhaps even prepare to become a bee keeper yourself. Dana will give an informative and fun workshop and answer all your questions on this important little insect in the lovely bush surrounds of Resting Place of the Birds, "Mundine" Goondiwindi from 9am to 12.30pm. Julia Telford talks about her breast cancer journey, while raising money for the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation and Breastscreen Queensland. Funds will go towards Breastscreen Toowoomba that currently needs 3D ultrasound equipment to make diagnosis easier and more accurate. The event takes place at the Sundial Evants Centre (13 Moffat Street, Goondiwindi). Tickets are at $35 with food and drinks provided.

Do you like to hear about good reads, new authors, share stories and information with other book lovers?This is what the Book Lovers Group is all about. Monthly meetings are held at the Goondiwindi Library and all are welcome. The next meeting is on November 20 from 11am to noon.

The Festival of Small halls will visit Texas with Canada’s two-time JUNO Award winner, Old Man Luedecke,and Australian folk festival favourite Lucy Wise. The event kicks off at 6.30pm at the Texas Library.
