Rosevalley Spring Garden Cancer Fundraiser, Texas
A Cancer Council Queensland Fundraiser for all cancers. Once again we will have an auction and bar and prizes for lucky gate, best dressed, best hat and lucky chair. Our major prize again this year will be a voucher from Hogans Jewellery Toowoomba.
Handmade Homewares workshops
Fabric lampshade making: start and finish a beautiful fabric lampshade and gain confidence to make them on your own.
Fabric decoupage: delicately cover a range of useful homewares (vases, pots, trays and notebooks) in beautiful fabric.
No experience or artistic ability needed. Come and enjoy a laugh, good company, yummy food and make some amazing homewares! Cost: $220 per workshop includes tuition, materials, afternoon/morning tea, lunch and take home instructions.
Variety of stalls and local made items, jumping castle for the kids.
Home Grown Festival
Free entry. Winangali Infusion, coffee, fresh food, plants, produce, market stalls, demonstrations, live music, dog wash and more! Home grown family fun! From 8am-Midday.
Furniture Painting Workshop
This fun hands-on workshop will teach you how to prep and paint your piece using a range of different decorative paints and finishes. Bring along a small piece of wooden furniture (something you can carry yourself) and let’s have some fun! No experience needed! Cost is $90 which includes tuition, paint, finishes, use of stencils and brushes to complete your project, a stenciled sign to take home and light refreshments.
Inglewood Blue Light Disco
There's a new Blue Light Disco in town and it's a "Wild West" theme! Hop on your old horse and gallop in to town on Friday 19th October, 6pm to 8pm.
Rotary Goondiwindi Brain Drain
6:30pm bar and BBQ, 7:30pm questions begin. Held at the GSPS Assembly Hall, $50 per team ( 6 players). Register at the Argus office, Marshall Street Goondiwindi 46711666. Prizes for best dressed, BYO finger food, no eskies allowed.
Inglewood Ladies Night Out
Come join us to learn about the hair & beauty industry's best kept secrets. 20th October at the Olympic Motel, Inglewood. Tickets: pre-purchase $50. Audience models, learning hair tips & tricks, how to style & apply makeup and why it's worth investing in your hair & quality products. 5pm doors open, 6pm presentations begin. Drinks & nibbles, 5 raffle tickets to go towards some raffle prizes, goody bags and music.
Cyber Safety Evening
Parents are invited to attend a session Thursday evening at 6pm (free of charge) to learn more about technology and cyber safety. It will be held at the Golden Age Centre with drinks and nibbles starting at 5pm.
