Toobeah bonfire fundraiser raises money for kindergarten

There’s nothing better than a few tall tales around a campfire.

And you’ll be able to find that out at Toobeah on Saturday, July 14.

That’s when the Toobeah Kindy is holding its inaugural bonfire night.

They’ve come up with eight reasons why you shouldn’t miss it.

We can get you there and back

Free buses will be running from Goondiwindi. Buses from Talwood and around the Toobeah area will also be available.

Please contact Holly on 0419 412 992 as bookings are essential

2. Accoustic vibes

There’ll be great music.

3. Camp oven-inspired meals

Hearty food to warm your souls on a wintery night. Stews, roast meat gravy rolls and even a little bit of self-saucing pudding too. There will be snags for the kids as well as special treats!

4. The Bonfire bar

Put simply, it's our cash bar where guests can purchase wine, beer and spirits – all at a friendly price that isn’t going to break the bank. Please note no eftpos or ATM

5. Child friendly

We’re a talking giant sand pit, glow sticks and marshmallows, plus we’ve fenced off our main bonfire to keep the little ones a safe distance away

6. Come for a good time or a long time

The Bonfire kicks off at 3.30pm and will go till late – so it doesn't matter whether you’re looking for a great local family afternoon activity, or an evening with the girls, the Toobeah Bonfire is open for all.

Motel accommodation is available at the Toobeah Hotel 07 4677 5280 or feel free to camp out

7.Just turn up

Everyone loves a Bonfire, but no one likes collecting the wood.  And lucky for you, we’ve done the wood collecting.

8. Support a great cause

All profits from the night will go towards the unique and very special little Kindy out west, the Toobeah Kindergarten. Plus one more reason, we all know how they like to party out Toobeah way.
