Help is available to deal with the drought at Goondiwindi Regional Library

Farmers are really feeling the effects of drought on both sides of the border.

An information session is being held for Queensland and NSW farmers to access information and advice from Queensland Government's Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and Local Land Services staff on drought assistance available in each state, access Rural Financial Counsellors, ask about supplementary feeding etc.

This will take place on Wednesday, June 20, from 10am to noon at the old boardroom of the Goondiwindi Regional Library.

Support staff will be available from QDAF, NSW Local Land Servcies, QLD and NSW Rural Financial Counsellors
