A rocking night at the Goondiwindi State School music triva

They came as rock stars and paparazzi and in ripped jeans and sunglasses.

They came to show off their rockwhiz knowledge, or not.

Or move like Michael Jackson or John Travolta, or not.

But they most definitely came to support the Goondiwindi State Primary School annual music trivia night.

Rockwhiz quiz master, and school deputy-principal Lew Verney said numbers were down slightly, but the enthusiasm certainly wasn’t.

“It’s been a busy time socially for the town,” Lew said. “Fingers crossed we’ll pick up next year.”

And as dear Molly would say, “Do yourself a favour”. It’s a ripper!

The Goondiwindi State Primary School has a renowned music program. Money raised from the annual fundraiser ensures that all continues. School Briella Craig  was a great example of the program performing some musical classics on the violin while young Will Day showed off his moves on the dance floor.
