Want to fall in love with travel?
Well we have the perfect event, a travel expo on Valentines Day.
Goondiwindi Travel will combine with Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours to present an information night at the Royal Hotel Goondiwindi on Wednesday, February 14.
It will run from 5.30pm to 7pm in the bistro area.
The evening will feature Canada and the Europe River Cruising holidays but information on other destinations will also be available.
Sara Puglia, Senior Sales consultant for Queensland, will deliver all the information you need to make your dreams a reality.
“There is no doubt, these are the two current “flavour of the month destinations” and with all of the Early Birds and specials available, now is the time to plan your holiday,” Goondiwindi Travel Agent, Graeme Scheu said.
Scenic, like a number of tour wholesalers, is concentrating their sales efforts on supporting local travel agents. “It’s a great change for travellers ad agents,” Mr Scheu said.
Graeme is celebrating 32 years in the industry.
He said he was particularly pleased that a change is happening to the online trend.
“A local Travel Agent can provide so much more than on-line services.
“For a start, when you want to know something or you are unsure, you always have the local person to speak to face-to-face.
“We may not know the exact answer on every occasion but we will find out what you need to know and we all know how hard that can be when chasing online.
“ Tour Wholesalers are now providing travel agents with booking commissions so it costs no more to support your local Travel Agent.
“As well, in a number of circumstances, the wholesaler is providing direct book engines for travel agents to complete bookings direct.
“It is an exciting time for those of us that have been in the industry for a long time and seen what is now the full circle and we are excited to partner Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours in these sales promotion nights,” Mr Scheu said.
Interested parties are asked to advise Goondiwindi Travel on 46711677 if you are thinking of attending so provisions can be made.
