Bethany, from the Glennie School in Toowoomba, competed in the 10-yr tetrathlon, which includes 100m, 800m, long jump and shot put.

Points are given for times and distances to find overall places. Bethany came third and was ninth in Australia for the Individual long jump.

In her relays, the 80m combined boys and girls relay came first, the shot put team came second while the long jump team came fifth. Altogether she has competed in nine events.
