If we didn’t know it already, young golfer Joel Stahlhut is proving that’s he’s not just one of the most exciting prospects in Australia, but the world.

Joel is in America taking part in the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship in San Diego for golfers aged 15-18.

And he’s more than matching it with the best. As we went to press – after two rounds –  Joel was in sixth spot and only three shots off the lead in a tight bunch of five all within one shot of each other.

The tournament could be a major stepping stone for Joel.

It is organised by Future Champions Golf
