Goondiwindi Library has planned a number of school holiday activities for kids. There are fantastic holiday programs to students of all ages during the Queensland school holidays.

Fabric Craft Workshops

Local crafting masters have volunteered their time to hold weekly workshops with 10 to 15 year olds, teaching them the basics for sewing, knitting, applique and more!

Robo Kids

As everyday use of technology increases and our lives become more reliant on it, Robo Kids breaks down and explains how coding and robotics work and builds on those foundations to create a fun learning atmosphere. The group is designed for 7 to 12 year olds.

Teen Tech

This group provides students aged 13 - 17 years old with technical knowledge of the programming languages of code and the practical ability to develop a functioning robot.

Story Time

Story time in the Library is a session of stories and readying activities aimed at three to five year old children and their parents / carers. The aim of the sessions is to give children a fun and relaxed start to their reading development before school through interactive storytelling, play, visual and practical activities.

To ensure that your child is all set to go with craft, reading, robotics fill out the online REGISTRATION FORM and a library staff member will then contact you to confirm registration. Call 4671 7470 for more info.
