The State of Origin team is helping The Goondiwindi Junior Rugby League raise money for a family injured in an accident last week.

In a fashion.

At this weekend's South West Mustangs Challenge the QRL Central Division and Warwick & District Junior Rugby League will donate a signed and framed 2017 State of Origin Jersey from Game II of this year’s series to Goondiwindi Junior Rugby League Club.

It’s to assist in the McGrady family’s Road to Recovery Fund.

The Warwick & District Junior Rugby League will also donate $1000 to the fund.

“Christo” McGrady and his partner Karisha Porter-McIntosh were traveling with three children to Clifton to support their son Isaiah and his teammates in the under 14 grand final when the accident occurred.

“Christo” suffered the worst injuries and was flown to the PA Hospital in Brisbane however a family friend said on Monday he was surrounded by family and was recovering well. The Goondiwindi Junior Rugby league have begun a gofundme page.

All monies raised will go directly to helping with rehabilitation expenses for all involved.

Alternatively donations can be made directly to the Club's bank account if preferred - please contact the Clubs for bank details if this is your preferred option.
