Cutting action comes to Goondiwindi for Mothers Day

The Cotton Country Cutting Club’s Mothers Day Show begins tomorrow (Friday).

The first event is the $5000 Novice and it will run from 7a.m to 1pm at the Goondiwindi Showgrounds..

It’s just the start of the three-day event which ends on Mothers Day.

“For a great day out this weekend, don't miss the Cutting,” one of Australia’s most promising riders, Jade Mackay said.

“With over 400 entries, the competition promises non stop action in the arena featuring many of the country's top riders and horses,” she said. 

And the recreational activities aren’t bad either.

Enjoy free entry, The Bronky Donkey Bar and Greggy's $7 Margarita's from 5pm - 7pm on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast and lunch provided by Fuss Free Catering.

In other cutting news, Jade and local Cutting Club president have made the Australian Team for the US vs AUS Challenge to be held in Tamworth from May 28.
