Free breast screening clinic in Goondiwindi

Goondiwindi and district women aged 40 and over are being encouraged to make their health a priority in 2017 and book in for a free breast screen.

Health promotion officer Nicola Garrett said the BreastScreen Queensland Toowoomba digital mobile service would be at Goondiwindi Hospital from February 9  to March 16.

“If you’re a woman aged 40 and over, and you’ve been planning to have your first breast screen, or are due for a two-yearly screen, call us today on 13 20 50 to book an appointment.

“A breast screen every two years is the best way to detect breast cancer early, well before you or your doctor can feel anything.

“It’s fast, it’s free for women aged 40 and over, and it could save your life.”
