It's never to early to start thinking about the famous Goondiwindi Apex Eisteddfod

Have you ever watched the performers at the eisteddfod and thought, “I could do that!” Why not make this the year to live that dream and enter the 2017 Goondiwindi Apex Eisteddfod?

Schedules and entry forms are now available at the Goondiwindi Regional Civic Centre, the local schools and on the website, http://performingartsgoondiwindi.weebly.com You may also phone Judy Dunlop at 0746712462 to have a schedule posted. Entries close on Tuesday 2nd May and these, along with correct entry money, may be left at the Goondiwindi Regional Civic Centre or posted to The Secretary PO Box 1018 Goondiwindi Q 4390.

The eisteddfod is a celebration of local and district talent-actors, singers, choirs, musicians and dancers-and is open to all ages. There are trophies and monetary awards to be won.

The four adjudicators have been appointed and confirmed and some have adjudicated at the eisteddfod in past years. They are Graeme Porter, Vocal and Choral, Denise Collins, Instrumental and Piano, Sandra Neale, Speech and Drama and Bev Parker, Dance adjudicator.

Now is also the time to become a FOTE (Friend of the Eisteddfod) member. Membership is $20.00 for individuals, $30.00 for families and $50.00 for businesses and includes a free programme and entry to all sessions, every day, including the Selected Performers Concert.

Many volunteers are also needed for the five days of the eisteddfod so please consider offering your help for an hour or a session or for the whole day. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

For all enquiries please phone Judy Dunlop 0746712462 or 0412510949.
