Last Monday, October 8, fire trucks and the Police were called to a tractor fire near the GrainCorp silos at the western end of Goondiwindi. The tractor was getting driven when the oil and diesel on the road ignited, spreading to the tractor, Police said. The driver managed to jump from the tractor and was not injured. The tractor was towed back to Goondiwindi. There were no suspicious circumstances. This spectacular pic was taken by amateur photograher, Ken Carrigan, who just happened to be passing. by.
