Playgroup in the park

01 Jul, 2009 10:50 AM
Despite the late-lifting fog last Tuesday morning, the Goondiwindi Playgroup in the Park enjoyed the support from the community with more than 150 people joining in the fun and activities.

Rotary supplied the ever-popular Bozo Bus.

PCYC face painted and had fairy bubble wands for the kids to enjoy.

June Horn of the Goondiwindi Town Library brought along a magnificent collection of hats from around the world which form part of a Queensland Museum exhibition and set about making newspaper hats with the children and telling her wildly exciting stories.

Care Goondiwindi provided a jumping castle, necklace beading, colouring in, playdough fun and a trough of flour that was a huge hit!

The crowd enjoyed a delicious morning tea of fruit, sandwiches and scones.

The next playgroup in the park is on Wednesday, September 9.
