North Star CWA has organised workshops for men and women of all ages with Craig Allingham and Mary O’Dwyer in August. The men are up first on Wednesday, August 4, from 5pm-9pm and the women have their turn on Thursday, August 5 from 9am –3pm.
As you’d expect at an event in which the CWA is involved, dinner is included for the men, and lunch for the women.
North Star CWA is a small branch of energetic and intelligent women seeking ways to enhance people’s lives in our community, said member Pam Wilkinson.
“Mary and Craig came out last year, and the response was so good we just had to have them back,” Mrs Wilkinson said.
Craig Allingham is a freelance physiotherapist and men’s health advocate.
He has over 30 years’ experience as a physiotherapist, sports and Olympics Assistant Professor at Bond University, Queensland. With a blend of academic currency and practical application to issues of men’s health, business management and clinical education, he challenges men and educates them on how to get more out of their life, body and mind. He’s also an author: “More Clients – Turning Customers into Cashflow.
Craig’s workshop, Building Better Blokes, and The Seven Dwarves Guide to Men’s Health Session will be great for the men in our community.
Mary O’Dwyer is a specialist physiotherapist and consultant.
She trained at the University of Queensland and Melbourne, and has more than 30 years’ clinical and teaching experience. Mary conducts seminars teaching physiotherapists about the pelvic floor, back pain and teaching fitness professionals about the effects of exercise on the pelvic floor.
Mary will be running the Confident Womens’ (Floor) Flaw Workshop on Thursday, August 5 from 9am-3pm.
Don’t miss out on these important and informative workshops in our community.
“We are very fortunate to have Mary and Craig joining us at the North Star Sporting Club,” A CWA sokesperson said.
