Macintyre Young Writers winners

05 Nov, 2008 10:30 AM
It’s over for another year. More than 1400 entries poured in for this year’s Macintyre Young Writers’ Awards.

All the winners will receive their certificates at a presentation ceremony at the Goondiwindi State Primary School on Wednesday, November 12 at the Williams’ Room.

It will begin at 5pm and there will be a sausage sizzle and social get-together after.

Year level book prizes will be announced on the night.

Judges were excited by the standard of entries.

“We should all be proud of our young writers, and not just those who won certificates,” Macintyre Young Writers’ President Peter Johnson said.
