For punters loooking for a little divine assistance

IF you are looking for an great day out for the Melbourne Cup, the Goondiwindi Anglican Parish is having a lunch in the church garden.

For $20, the church group will be preparing a tasty lunch and providing a complimentary champagne.

They have organized entertainment for the event, including raffles, sweeps, prize for best hat and refreshments will be available.

The race will be viewed in the ministry centre on a large screen.

The champagne and chicken lunch will begin at 11.30a.m at the Anglican Church in Bowen Street.

All are welcome and bookings and inquires can be made by calling Jacquie McDonald 47713704 or Caroline Jorgensen 46711015.
