O’Shea’s Royal Hotel is the place to be for two fabulous events held in aid of the Leukaemia Foundation. First there’s Shave for a Cure on Saturday, March 14, there's the Wedding Expo on March 20.
There’s no suggestion the 8pm starting time is designed to give participants time to gain a little Dutch courage.
Shayne Ints and his sister Nicole will be losing their locks, along with Micheal Kindt and anyone who else who feels brave on the night.
“Shavers” are only allowed a “No.1” haircut, for OH&S reasons, but that’s still an extremely short hair-cut. You might prefer to be sponsored to dye your hair instead, or make a donation. All the funds raised go to the Leukaemia Foundation.
Shayne grew his hair long for last week’s AC/DC concert in Brisbane, and hasn’t had a hair cut since August, so it will be worth watching. Micheal Kindt has already raised more than $1000.
“It’s a really important cause,” he said.
